The project supported by the ERA Chairs Horizon Europe program aims to establish the EBEAM Centre, led by Mark H. Rümmeli, as a globally recognized hub for Electron Beam Precision Manufacturing.
This initiative also seeks to drive structural changes within the research environment and science management at VSB-TUO, aligning them with the highest international standards. Furthermore, the project places a strong emphasis on nurturing young researchers by actively engaging them in the initiative, thus enhancing their creative and innovative potential.
The EBEAM project will have regional and national impacts in terms of research, education, and technology, in alignment with the Research and Innovation Smart Specialization strategy.
